At Stamford Palace, Blumenthal pushes federal support for theaters in crisis

Blumenthal visited The Bushnell in Hartford with the same message last week, and was at the Warner Theater in Torrington Aug. 13. He has been advocating for passage of the Save Our Stages Act, through which arts venues, (including music clubs and other live performance venues as well as theaters), can apply for grants through the Small Business Administration, specifically to address hardships brought on by the pandemic.
