Man accused of sexual assault of teen on Bridgeport sidewalk

BRIDGEPORT — A local man was arrested after police said he sexually assaulted a teenaged girl on a city sidewalk.

Noe Cristino-Molina, 26, of Newfield Avenue, was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.

He was being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Police said on Monday, a 13-year-old girl was walking on East Main Street with her mother and older brother when a man later identified as Cristino-Molina, who they didn’t know, approached them and grabbed the girl’s buttocks.

The girl screamed and Cristino-Molina ran off pursued by the brother, police said.

Police said the brother caught up with Cristino-Molina and held onto him until police arrived. In the meantime, police said, the mother came up and slapped Cristino-Molina in the face.
