Celebrated chef bringing tastes of childhood in Mexico to New Haven at Camacho Garage

Small plates include tamal de birria (braised lamb and corn dumplings), Mexican hot dog (bacon wrapped turkey sausage dog), ensalada de nopales (cactus salad) and duck tambores (drumettes.) Larger plates will appear as rotating daily specials, and desserts include churros, flan and paletas. The bar offers bottled and tap beer, including Mexican favorites; “high octane” specialty cocktails with tequila and mezcal and non-alcoholic options like Jarritos sodas, Topo Chico mineral water, housemade frescas and spritzers.
